Papers of Lucille Ketchum Carter, 1936-1992.

The papers are comprised of sixty-five letters from the Round Robin Club, of which Carter wrote sixty-three. Also included are photocopies of family photographs, her graduation commencement program and Carter's notes for a chronicle of the twentieth century, a book she plans to write.

In 1936 Lucille Ketchum Carter graduated from the School of Nursing at the State University of Iowa (now the University of Iowa). She and her classmates formed a correspondence club called the Round Robin, whose members wrote to each other for over forty years about developments in their personal and professional lives.
